During my time at Whiteley & Whiteley, I was able to fully learn each step in the process of designing a custom home for clients both with and wiithout specific visions or requests. I learned the importance of conveying architectural design and purpose behind decision making through renderings, sketches, and color. This was my first experience in creating documents meant for a client to understand, not a professor who is already familiar to graphical representation and construction techniques. This internship really allowed me to explore where my talents best fit in with the design and construction industry. I discovered that I really enjoy speaking with clients, and participating in discovery and research of a design's development.
